You are invited to attend the Palmetto Pro Open, June 3-9 at the Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter, SC.

This year marks the 17th anniversary of the tournament and we have continued to grow each year. 2023 marked the first year the Palmetto Pro Open was a 60k event, one of only nine at that level in the United States. In 2024 the Pro Open was designated W75 in accordance with new rules to reflect the number of points available to the winner.

Tournament qualifying will take place, June 3-4. The main draw will run Tuesday through Friday, with singles matches in the mornings and doubles matches in the afternoons. A feature doubles match will take place on the evening of June 6, with doubles finals on June 8, followed by singles finals on June 9.

We will also host special events for media and guests throughout the week.

Young women, ages 14-28 from around the world, will participate in Sumter’s 2024 Palmetto Pro Open USTA Pro Circuit Event. Previous champions of the Palmetto Pro Open include Yulia Starodubtseva (2023), Sophie Chang (2022), Peyton Stearns (2021), and Hailey Baptiste (2019).

The Palmetto Pro Open event debuted in Sumter in 2008 as a 10K, 128-player entry event. In 2015 the event became one of three 25K events in South Carolina with a 64-player entry. It is one of four USTA Pro Circuit women’s events held each year in South Carolina.

**No Admission Fee for Spectators. Shaded seating will be available on the courts right beside the action! We ask all spectators to be respectful to all players and attendees, limit noise and movement during an active match and refrain from entering certain marked areas around the grounds of the tennis center.

*** Rain delays and severe weather watches will be posted on our Facebook page.
